Welcome to the YCC 367 BLOG

At the 2006 Annual General meeting, communication was highlighted as an area that we could improve upon. This Blog is intended to be one way to allow residents to express themselves and get feedback from others. At the present time I have chosen to moderate this blog, so any comment posted will be previewed before posting to the blog. I will not censor any comment, but since the blog is open to anyone, I want to ensure that no inappropriate messages are posted. Please also note that while I have been a member of the Board for quite some time (as of June 2015 I am no longer a Director on the Board of YCC 367), any opinion that I express on this blog is as a resident of this community and may not necessarily reflect the opinion of any other member of our community or any other Board member. While I attempt to post useful information relating to our Corporation and maintain this forum for your convenience, this is not an "official" YCC 367 site. The Corporation does not provide any funding either directly or indirectly to maintain this blog. So. . . with that being said, scroll down, investigate and feel free to add your comments. Have fun !!

19/3/10 - PLEASE NOTE - Comments that do not relate to this blog or contain links to advertising or non-related sites will be removed. Please do not include links in your post as your post will be flagged as Spam and will not be published !!

Welcome anonymous. I don't quite understand your comment as you didn't indicate what you found abusive or offensive, if anything. If you are attempting to pose as me, first I wouldn't put an anonymous comment on my own blog and I would have used proper grammar. Anyone can post a comment on this blog and yes if necessary I will use some discretion if a comment is considered inappropriate. If there is a specific issue that you would like to discuss, I would be happy to hear your comments. If anything that I have presented on this blog is incorrect, point out the error and I will correct or clarify the information.

Welcome anonymous.
Glad you like the blog, one request please. It would be appreciated if you did not include links to other sites. It is not the purpose of this blog to promote commercial ventures or services. I would also encourage any other visitor to this blog NOT to click on your links, as there are too many malicious sites out there and as you are anonymous, no way to evaluate potential risk.

The previous post was removed as it was totally in Chinese script (which I do not read and cannot verify the message)and contained links to unacceptable web sites. As I have said previous, this will not be tolerated and any such post will be removed.

Hi Howie,

I thought at one time the name and number of the paint color for the front door was posted on this blog. If so can you repost? Otherwise I will call Marie to get the information.

Thanks :)

The information that I have should be double checked at the paint store but I believe that the paint used was a Behr satin exterior paint. The three colours were Bone white (#8428), Sandstone (#1452) and Sanderling (#90). The Sanderling is darker than the sandstone and I believe that the sandstone was used for the trim and the sanderling for the doors. I have a sub note that the sanderling may be a CIL paint and a notation code as YR 33/167. If you give Marie a call she may be able to provide some additional information or checking the paint swatches at a store would also probably clear up the confusion. All this assumes that the paint codes that we used at the time are still valid today. It would be great if you could confirm or update this information if you are successful in matching any of these colours
Hope this helps.

I guess you will want to put a facebook button to your website. I just bookmarked this article, but I had to make it by hand. Just my 2 cents.

Howi said...

Sorry you had a problem bookmarking but I must admit I'm not sure how a Facebook button helps. Not sure which browser you are using, but most have an icon to click to add bookmarks. I will gladly add additional functionality if you can help me understand what to add. If you want you can email me directly at Galin.YCC367@sympatico.ca

Welcome anonymous.
Glad you liked the blog, unfortunately your comment was removed by my spam filter due to the inclusion of your link to "backlinks" service. I will repeat a request I make occasionally. It would be appreciated if you did not include links to other unrelated sites. It is not the purpose of this blog to promote commercial ventures or services. I would also encourage any other visitor to this blog NOT to click on links left by anonymous visitors, as there are too many malicious sites out there and as you are anonymous, no way to evaluate this potential risk.

You should master the art and technology of visitors in your website. Is the web page with out site visitors is like having an ice cream keep in the barren region, situated one hundred km from the nearest highway. It has the best ice cream in the world, but when someone enters your retailer, you'll be defeated.

Did you make this website yourself or did you hire someone to do it for you?

Hello Posterous
This blog is created using Blogger which provides templates and utilities to create and maintain your blog. While you can hire someone to look after your blog, this is something you can probably do yourself.

You are amazing. How do you know, a year ahead, when the 2016 AGM is ? What if its a different day/date?
You still pretend being a big chief ? Even after two consecutive years of your popularity diminishing, but you don't get the message.

Howi said...

Anonymous, you are not that anonymous as evidenced by the vitriol you still spew. You may elect to change the date and I will gladly revise this advance notification, which is simply an indication to anyone interested that the AGM is historically held on the second Tuesday in June. I don't pretend to be anything but your comment appears to indicate that you are still threatened by me. As for your assertion that my popularity is diminishing - first, it is sad that you consider Board representation a popularity contest and second, there are still many Owners who appreciate the contributions I have made to this community over the past three decades and still trust that I am capable of further contributions. You will be judged on your ability to manage the affairs of this Corporation and not on the ability to solicit proxies (an issue for another time).

I am back little man. So you are a detective too you know who I am. Somebody from your condo said that you are very smart and handsome too like an angel with a wig.
Oh I am threatened by you, but angels are good. There for little man I am not threatened by you. You say you have "many" owners who like what you do, but I was told that you have maybe 2-3 friends only!!! I cant wait for the "Judgment day" to find out how I manage the Corporation!!!
Many hugs little man
